I've been blind. I've been paralyzed. I've been broken, abused, lied to, misused and yet, I still stand. I still rise. I choose to press on. I lost my mother at the age of 3 months old to double pneumonia and my father to AIDS. I have had my insides completely swollen; lost the majority of my long term memory and good portion of my short term memory due to an injury sustained from a very abusive relationship.  Through it all, in spite of it all, I am BETTER and NOT BITTER, Praise God.  I have a story, a testimony to share; a difference to make and I won't stop until I have what I decree and I make the difference God said that I was sent to make.

I am Spoken Word Artist, Motivational Speaker, C.E.O, founder of a Non-Profit Organization that works with our youth all across America.  I am a Published Author, Poet, Writer, Song Writer and Woman on a mission determined to excel, to win in spite of.

I was in a car accident that introduced me to the true world of science. For a little while, I was a walking robot to some extent. I had wires down my spine, a remote control in my hand and a battery in my back.

I have been through hell and back again and yet, I refuse to give up. I refuse to give in.

I am the product of a very dysfunctional home.  I came from a long line of abuse. I have been physically abused and sexually molested; as well as, raped. I know hurt on levels that most can't imagine and yet, I choose to continue to GET BETTER - NOT BITTER. I recognize that it is all a choice.

I know that God destined me for great things. He told me that my work was not in vain; my pain was not in vain; my hurt was not in vain and He had a plan that far outweighed all that I had been through or would go through.

I want to share my message, my testimony with the world. I want others to know that NO MATTER WHAT YOU GO THROUGH, God has a plan and Jesus is the answer.

I pray that you will give me a chance to show you, remind you, encourage you and tell you just how good God is and how far I've come.

I have 5 beautiful kids that have made living my life all the more worthwhile, especially when I didn't have the strength to go on; to keep going. I thank God everyday for every person, every moment and every opportunity that He gave me to know His love and to share it with the world in spite of.

I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. I love to read. I love to write. I love to help. I am a Spoken Word Artist;  CEO; Published Author; Writer; Poet; Motivational Speaker and Kreative Mind at work. I love to encourage others with my writings and motivational speaking engagements. My writings are a reflection of me. They are a reflection of where I have been and where I am going. They are the voice of many voiceless people with much to say and no means by which to say it.

My words are real; they breed life; they breed truth and they breed God. My writings are my voice in a voiceless community; they are my pictured paintings to a blind world and the music to the ears of those who are willing to see beyond the eyes and feel beyond the heart. My words are meant to inspire; uplift and educate. They are meant to bring about emotion and to cast aside doubt, leaving reality naked to the truth.

My writings are different but, they are real. In each book, article, blog, etc... you will find comedy, joy, hope, laughter, truth, wisdom. I believe that life is hard enough and that we should strive to stay on track; to keep the faith; to press forward to greater and more. We determine what happens in our life based on what we do. There are no limitations in God; therefore, all things are possible.
